Ruth Lindley is the DCLVA champion for the second year running, following her win at Eaglescliffe Golf Club on Friday 9 May 2008.

Mrs V Wilkinson had her first Hole In One at the 7th hole using an 8 iron while competing in the Ladies Coronation Cup on Tuesday, 29 April. Her playing partner was Mrs M Crawford, Lady Captain. It was drinks all round for the rest of the ladies playing in the competition.

The ladies won their 4th round match (at home) against Scarborough (South Cliff) 4 to 1. The results of the matches being Ruth Lindley, Christine Williamson, Natalie Crute & Mandy Hall winning their matches and Kath Holcroft lost. Congratulations ladies.

Charity Cheque Presentation Sunday 24 February 2008
The Captain, Mr Keith Stephens, held a cheese & wine social event at which he presented a cheque to the value of £3,180 to a representative of the Leukaemia Charity. The monies had been collected during events at the club during Keith's year as Captain.
